In the complimentary consultation, we explore with you, your goals, ideas, and vision for your project. We will share with you the essential considerations such as how to best plan your space. Our house is more “traditional” and while we love your modern aesthetic, we’re worried it won’t look right in our house. Can you still help?

We have seen architectural plans in the past and they were quite confusing, and it was difficult to visualize what things will look like. What do your plans look like?

That is why we produce detailed renderings and sketches to ensure that you can really see how your vision will come to life. We heard that we will need permits for our project. Is that something you help with?
We provide your contractor with the detailed drawings they need to apply for and receive the appropriate permits your project requires.
When construction has started do you manage the project?
We created our process to be efficient and cost-effective. Involving the designer in the construction phase of a project can unnecessarily increase the overall budget. Our process is designed to give you everything your contractor needs before starting the process. We don’t go to build if you’re not happy. We provide your contractor with all the necessary plans, documents, and design details they need to execute your project. Sometimes when your contractor starts investigating your space new information can be uncovered. This is described as the discovery phase. During this stage and throughout your project we are available for ongoing project-solving consultations at our hourly rate.
If we find a contractor or vendor we like can we use those instead of the ones you recommend?
Yes of course you can, it is always good for us to meet new contractors and develop new relationships. Our process is built on establishing positive relationships and trust with any contractors and vendors we work with. Construction projects run smoothly with strong and clear communication, that’s our specialty.

Now. It’s never too early to start gathering information and thinking about your projects. Our complimentary consultation will provide you with invaluable information that will help you get started in the right direction.
How does your pricing work?
During the complimentary consultation, we establish a baseline scope of work for your unique design. Based on the agreed scope of work we advise you of the approximate number of design hours it will take to realize your vision. You purchase a package of hours, and we keep you apprised of how those hours are allocated. Our design process is extremely easy, efficient, and cost-effective for you. Do you work outside of the San Francisco Bay Area?
Yes. We have been working remotely for years, long before it was a necessity. We can support clients across North America as our proven processes can be applied almost anywhere.
